Broker's Comments
Westerly Tiger's are popular cruising models from the reliable and sturdy Westerly range of sailing yachts. Designed for maximum comfort with a large, deep cockpit and spacious side decks and reported to be an easy to handle rig. The interior is spacious for its size, sleeping six, with a galley and separate heads. Ideal as a popular small cruising yacht whilst also capable of venturing further afield.
The owner has invested recently in a number of service items on the engine including a new fuel pump, manifold gasket and overall engine service.
Having said that, the owner does report that 'the engine has been overheating due to encountering heavy weed on a stretch of French canal’.
When I visited the boat, I was struck that with some cosmetic attention to the exterior, this will make an appealing yacht to anybody looking for an easy to handle boat and to enjoy a variety of affordable sailing.
If you would like more information please contact our office and we would also be pleased to organise a personal viewing.
