Broker's Comments
This is a unique opportunity to purchase a classic motor yacht, with only 34 of the 48's ever built. Rampart boat building works developed a reputation for producing quality motor boats that were traditionally styled, fast, with good sea keeping abilities and were well specified.
Ideal for use as a liveaboard, second home or for comfortable cruising, with plenty of accommodation and style. From the spacious and light wheelhouse, moving forward to the master cabin there is additional office space, stowage and access to the recently added en-suite wet room. Moving aft from the wheelhouse, there is a well equipped galley, leading into the comfortable saloon and with access through to the aft deck. The good volume of space continues externally with a spacious cockpit, upper deck, voluminous foredeck and wide side decks leading forward. Altogether, there is plenty of space for living and entertaining in comfort and style.
This version was built for the Commodore of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club. The current owner has invested considerable time and resource into overseeing a comprehensive refit of the boat, both inside and out. This refit appears to be of a high standard including: new upholstery, carpets, re-caulked decks, re-painted hull and topsides , upgraded electrics, engines serviced and fuel tanks cleaned. The interior now also benefits from the addition of a wet room, office space, space for a washing machine and plenty of storage. Please see our detailed listing for comprehensive description of the long list of updates.
This Rampart really strikes as an outstanding example of the 48, also with a close proximity to London and with the possibility of a residential mooring.
