Broker's Comments
Boatshed Midi Canals are pleased to offer this classic Dutch barge for sale in the South of France.
She is a great example of a classic long distance cruiser with spacious living.
With its traditional interior design and a lovely aft deck, you soon feel very relaxed onboard.
The beautiful hardwood wheelhouse has been recently renewed.
She has a large, light and spacious saloon area.
The main cabin windows have removable glass panels allowing a good airflow through the galley and saloon during the warm summer days.
There are two double sleeping cabins, and a light and spacious open plan, dinning area-saloon with a forward head and separate shower.
It is rare to find a barge of this quality that still has a traditional feel about it. The motor is in great working condition and a joy to watch running through the glass paneled engine room door. This beautifully maintained engine propels the barge at a fair speed but only burning 2.5 liters per hour.
The charm and historical nature of this barge has been maintained throughout the vessel.
The current, and previous owners of the delightful boat have been a credit to the barge's heritage.
The current owners say that the barge is only for sale because they feel that a smaller boat would now better suit the age group.
