Originally built in 1922 in Bordeaux as a Canal du Midi oil tanker the vessel was shortened and converted to a residential barge in the 1970's. Re-bottomed in 6mm plate in 2003 the vessel was last docked and surveyed in July 2019 and has a current Certificate Communautaire (TRIWV).

From the centre terrace deck aft is the wheelhouse which has kept its classic Canal du Midi shape and access to the boatman’s cabin with two single berths 2m x 1.05m a shower room heads with domestic WC. 1.97m headroom. 10.75m2 of living space in all! Forward of the terrace area is the access to the main cabin with its shower room WC & entrance lobby followed by the main saloon & kitchen (this is a barge not a yacht!!) A well equipped all electric kitchen with plenty of worktop space oven four burner hob, dishwasher & fridge freezer. The open plan saloon includes dining area, relaxing area and even an office space with desk. Double glazed opening windows & over 2m headroom give a great feeling of space & light. Total living space here is 23.58m2
Finally forward through a watertight door is the main bedroom with more office space storage and a bed 2m x 1.5m & a total area of 7.75m2
Aft of the shower room are two single cabins with beds 2m x 1.05m and a desk in each.
The whole living area is heated by radiators from an oil fired boiler which also heats the domestic hot water.
