Mechanical
The engine is a BMC 1.5 which had the injectors and glow plugs replaced 3 years ago, a new starter motor and alternator 1 year ago and a complete rewire. There is also a bilge pump with automatic float switch.
A new gear box fitted October 2019 with 12 month warranty , engine also serviced , all new filters.

The 2015 survey reported the ultra soundings gave a thickness of 5-6mm over most of the bottom plating and 6mm over most of the side plating indicating the plating has lost only little of its original plate thickness. At the stern under the engine area the plate thickness was down to 4.9 mm in some places, this is still of an acceptable thickness.
The bow locker houses double 13kg gas bottles with a quick changeover switch.
The hull was overplated in 2008 when it was coated in 2 pack epoxy resin.
The outside metalwork has been completely stripped down to bare metal and repainted using 2 coat primer 2 coat undercoat and 2 coat V+E enamel paint.
