Built by Waterline Yachts of Sidney, BC, Canada. Waterline is known for their high-end custom steel construction and is highly regarded among those familiar with Waterline Yachts.
Steel hull with rounded chines, long fin keel with skeg hung rudder. Attractive shear line, modest size cockpit suitable for offshore work. Survey in 2011 included a successful ultrasound. Current condition appears as a solid, well-built vessel in good condition that could use a paint job as can be seen in the hull close up photo. Fresh bottom paint and zink July 2014

Broker's Comments
Waterline Yachts Inc. of Sidney, B.C., Canada manufactured a very well-regarded product. Never a high volume yard, these highly custom boats were built for people who knew what they wanted -- the best -- for serious cruising. This Waterline 38 cutter-rigged sloop is no exception. Steel hull, decks and house make her a very durable and capable vessel. By nature of her construction she's tough, fire resistant, and easily repairable wherever you are in the world. Her lines are pleasant and she's all set up for offshore adventure. This vessel has journeyed to Australia and has explored many South Pacific islands. It has a Monitor wind vane steering system not photographed. This is a one-owner boat (which itself says a lot), and her owners would like her to go to new owners who will use her for her designed purpose -- world cruising.
