Broker's Comments
Harking back to the days when small yachts made the Moody name, the 27 packs a lot into its diminutive length. Helped by mounting the rudder on the transom, the cockpit feels deep and spacious, a virtue amplified in port by the presence of a full cockpit enclosure. This particular example has been fitted with in-mast reefing to simplify sail handling. The topsides and deck look in fine condition. The companionway stairs lead into a cosy saloon, set off with plenty of wood and a big twin drop-leaf table. Beyond the mast compression post is a decently sized fore-cabin v-berth with infill and generous locker space. Though room has been found for a small but adequate galley and an enclosed heads to starboard and port of the companionway respectively, there has been no room for a dedicated chart table, so a neat portable table with hinged Perspex cover clips against the heads bulkhead. The original laptop, perhaps? This attractive-looking yacht would suit a Moody enthusiast with a more modest budget.
